liquid liner - nothing could be finer! - vincent longo.

over the next few weeks makeup loves me will be celebrating the variety of color, texture, and application techniques for liquid eyeliners. along with false eyelashes, liquid liners are one of my all-time favorite forms of makeup. this fantastic product is pivotal for some of the most dramatic and most elegant looks ever created (the audrey hepburn, the amy winehouse, the egyptian...).

vincent longo's c-scope collection pushes liquid liner farther than i've ever seen before, with vibrant primary and secondary colors reminiscent of native american themes.

normally if someone says a liquid liner is "red", they mean a reddish-brown shimmer. vincent longo means classic crayola red (also on the red/rossino you can tell what a shaky hand i have!). besides the colors pictured, the collection includes a green, called verdino and the more standard black (nerino) and brown (moreno) liners. each liner is $18 at sephora.com.

what sort of look would you do with c-scope?

valentine's day - rose lip, cheek and feet picks.

i love roses -but even if you only feel ok about them - valentine's day is when every girl should cover herself from head to toe in these fragrant, suggestive blooms.

the perfect lip color is always the right accessory for your romantic dinner or to attract the perfect mate. it seems vincent longo must have a rose obsession as well. while searching for the prettiest lipsticks with le nom de la rose, i found that all the best rose-hued lipsticks are longo.

my rose lipstick picks - all vincent longo (from left to right):
catalina rose baby balm lipstick spf 12, $23
olympia rose wet pearl lipstick spf 20, $23
eve rose lipstain lipstick spf 15, $23

and vincent longo lip and cheek stain (laying in front):
fresh water rose pearlessence gel stain, $22.50

my picks for rose cheeks:
l'oreal bare naturale gentle mineral blush in soft rose, about $14.99
l'oreal bare naturale illuminateur mineral in rose glow, about $14.99

both are available at pharmacies and both give you that rosy-infused cheek.

and my pick for rose feet:
foot petals shoe inserts, single pack $6.95

if my feet didn't hurt so much i would kick myself for waiting until fashion week ended to put my foot petals into my seychelle's. they are supposed to prevent calluses, which i am psyched about. they also come in various colors and patterns, depending on just how conspicuous you want to be.

vincent longo's c scope.

there is a lot of diversity among the spring 2008 collections. which is fabulous, because there's something for everyone and something to help you express every aspect of your personality.

vincent longo's spring line, c scope, introduces three new, very innovative, products to their line - c scope vibrant eye waterproof mascara ($24), c scope vibrant eye waterproof liner ($18) and c scope lip vinyl ($24).

both the mascara and the liner (which is liquid) come in 7 colors - black, red, white, yellow, blue, green, and brown. i'm excited to try the liner, since i love liquid liner.

the lip vinyls come in 5 varieties - ranging from red, to pink, to brown.

concurrently, longo is also releasing the illumina/concealer duo pencils ($32.50) - double-ended pencils where one side is concealer and the other is a highlighter. i think this is genius! the illumina/concealer will be available in 6 colors - light, medium, dark, amber, caramel and sienna.

vincent longo products are available at vincentlongo.com, beauty.com, ulta.com, victoriassecret.com and sephora.
