review: shiseido face color enhancing trios.

{cheekbones ahead}

shy about contouring?  i am!  i always appreciate a palette that simplifies the process.  shiseido's newest release is the face color enhancing trio.  each trio has a shade for blushing, sculpting, and highlighting (arranged from top to bottom in the palette).

available in 4 distinct shades:
  • apple (RD1) – sun-kissed shades of pink, gentle fawn and light peach
  • lychee (PK1) – pale shades of pink, ivory and cream
  • peach (OR1) – soft hint of coral, subtle beige, and delicate gold shades
  • plum (RS1) – vivid rose, rich bronze, and golden beige shades
{lychee life}
 i tested out the lychee shade this weekend, and enjoyed the subtle cheekboning.  i used the top shade my apples, the darker shade below that and the middle shade on top of cheeks and above my brows.  it created a little depth without looking extreme.   lychee is especially nice for the fairest among us - pale girl's delight.  however, the variety of shades promises a hue for every cheek.   $37 at shiseido.com.
