bergdorf goodman: a perfume destination.

{smelling good, feeling good}

last week i stopped by the epitome of elegance, bergdorf goodman, to hear about the newest offerings in beauty.  while the beauty level has every category imaginable, what struck me was expansiveness and uniqueness of their fragrance selection.  even high-end department stores seem to have fallen prey to mass-produced, celebrity scents.  it's so refreshing to see bespoke, fine fragrances i'd never heard of before gracing the counters.

niche brands of note:  atelier cologne, ramon monegal, perfums robert piguet, and maison francis kurkdjian paris.  stop by any of these counters to find a well-crafted scent that is guaranteed no one else will be wearing.  i'm particularly found of rose anonyme by atelier cologne; a mix of turkish rose absolue, ginger from china, and velvet oud accord.

the beauty level also houses the scents of high end household names - like those from hermes and christian dior.  la collection privee christian dior has introduced a fragrance layering collection to create a scent that is truly custom.  i'm planning on gifting myself a little combo from the collection for my upcoming birthday.

for divine, personalized scents there is no greater destination than the bergdorf's beauty level.
