review: herbal essences naked collection.

{let's get naked}
lately herbal essences has stepped their game way up.  the naked collection contains three collections within - volume, moisture, and shine - and also introduces an array of on-point modern styling products, including a dry shampoo.

the entire collection smells of fresh mint.  then each texture collection - volume, moisture, and shine - has it's own additional scent.  each scent was crafted by fragrance sommelier, stacy hertenstein.
  • moisture - pairs mint with rosemary, basil, lemon and pineapple.  line includes shampoo, conditioner, and cleansing conditioner.
  • shine - infuses the scents of pear, white tea and mint.  available in shampoo, conditioner, and sheer shine mist.
  • volume - mixes mint with grapefruit, lemon and orange.  line contains shampoo, condition, dry shampoo, flexible hold spritzer, and volumizing souffle.
i've recently become a devotee of the volume line.  not only do i love the smell of citrus and mint together, the product delivers.  last week i was having drinks with my platonic male friend (and marie claire romantic advice columnist - check him out here) and he stopped a story mid-sentence to say, "you look pretty today...something with your hair?..."  if that's not an endorsement, i don't know what is.

entire naked collection is on shelves now (as of january 2014).
