review: clayspray.

{the line}
fact:  clay makes if not the best, one of the best, masques.  that's why it's been used by beauties across the globe for centuries. nothing can beat it for drawing out impurities.

my new favorite clay masque line is clayspray, a brand comprised of clay masques and mineral water sprays.  the line harvests clay from the irene mine on the iberian peninsula.    i went in for a mini facial with the products a few weeks ago.  the esthetician chose the pore refining white clay for nose and chin (where my pores likes to live large) and the brightening white clay with ginseng on my cheeks and forehead.  the masque dried in about 10-15 minutes, and once rinsed off, revealed a fresh face.  so fresh that i ended up opting not to wear makeup for the rest of the day, which pretty much never happens.

the spray applicator on these babies is a genius idea for a clay-based masque.  a jar of clay ends up drying out before i can even half way through, or becomes contaminated from dirty fingers digging into the pot.

i'd like to treat my skin to a masque 3 times a week, but at this point i aim to make it a weekly ritual.  i see this masque going into the rotation along side some of my mario badescu favorites.  clayspray has made it's US premier this month (august 2013) on beautyhabit.com$59.95 a masque.
