last night was
mad real. i started my evening at a ghd event, where a stylist used the ghd
classic styler to reproduce katy perry's coiffed, volumized look as seen in their ad on me. the styler can be used to straighten, wave, or curl. in this case she curled my hair away from my face, then gently brushed it. the whole process took about 15 minutes, definitely something i would consider doing when i want to look
extra polished. ghd's stylers range in price from $180-225 and come in a variety of colors and prints. check them out
here.
after the styling i proceeded to
the blind barber, an underground speakeasy in the east village, for a celebration of
lodro's rinzler's book, the buddha walks into a bar. since it's release this winter this book this book is everywhere -- at west elm, urban outfitters and on my parent's nightstand. last night rinzler announced a 2nd book,
the buddha walks into the office, is on the horizon. the night was a fantastic celebration, dj'ed by
ariel acosta (who happens to be my fiance!), guests were gifted silk bowties from
combat gent. plus, i was able to snap this photo of my ghd 'do in the photo booth, complete with dog ears. happy weekend, beauties!
