review: redken smooth lock product line.

 one of my favorite parts of overall fantastic movie a christmas story is when ralphie finally gets his little orphan annie decoder pin and locks himself in the bathroom while he decodes his message from little orphan annie.  after a frenzied decoding session the secret message is "drink more ovaltine".  poor ralphie.

redken's smooth lock line is a lot a decoder pin -- but with a way more important message.  the products help fight frizz and reveal hair's true texture - whether it be straight, wavy, or curly.  i always think of my hair as straight, but after using the smooth lock shampoo* and conditioner* it has subtle beachy waves, and not a bit of frizz in sight. 

the product line is meant to be an adjunct to this service, but i've been satisfied with my results from the shampoo and conditioner alone.  for even more decoding power you may want to consider the semi-permanent smooth lock in-salon service.
