benefit's newest eau de toilette, sasha*, is much like many of the fragrances in my repertoire - a girly floral. these sort of scents strike the right balance between playful and confident. lately i've also needed a scent to that harnesses my bravery -- for recent job interviews, a possible run-in with an ex -- a confidence boosting scent has been in order this july -- and sasha's energetic notes work perfectly. benefit describes sasha as a "gallery of delights...unforgettably daring and modern, sasha's a burst of floral energy."
top notes: orange flower absolute, apricot, pink freesia
middle notes: ylang ylang, tiare flower, white peony, jasmine sambac
bottom notes: crystal amber, liquid musk, vanilla
i'm in love, and it costs $36 a bottle.
