a blue and peach look with new laura mercier + nars.

{my three new staples- nars marie-galante shadow duo eyeshadow*, laura mercier long lash macara in bleu*, and laura mercier lip glace in orange tulip*}

combining royal blue and orangey-peach feels so fresh is may.  the colors remind me of upstate summers growing up with an abundance of blueberries and peaches. back when i didn't how about the sweltering heat of NYC summers, and summer was more of a pleasantly warm phenomena.  brands must be loving these country-girl shades for summer too, all the products i used are new launches from nars' and laura mercier's summer collections.

the steps:

1. laura mercier lip glace in orange tulip is just orange enough, a little punch of color that subtle enough to be paired with a bold eye.  
2. using the regal blue shimmer-y side of the nars marie-galante duo eyeshadow, i hugged the shadow tightly to the lids to prevent the look from getting too messy. 
3. then finished the eyes with laura mercier long lash macara in bleu.  blue mascara complement to blue shadow for a well-thought out look.
