illamasqua is normally a brand i shy away from, but their new spring/summer collection, body electrics (going live on their website tomorrow) has some simply amazing products.
new gleam cream ($36, limited edition) is a lightweight cream with pearlescent pigments that is suitable for both face and body. use this under liquid foundation and get an ethereal glow that makes you look like you just walked off the set of twilight. pair it with pure pigment in static (white with violet flecks, $24), on brows, eyes, or cheeks, and the ghostly glamor is unstoppable! these products are both especially great on pale skin (which i appreciate!). the collection will be available at select sephora stores and on sephora.com starting in may.
but i've saved the
best for last. illamasqua's four must-have-for-spring
pastel nail polishes: blow (pale yellow), wink (lavender), nudge (tiffany blue), and caress (cornflower blue). i can't stop talking about how amazing these colors are, and on the nail they are
