today was one of those beautiful, remember-why-i-love-nyc days. this morning i busted open my sample tube of bond no. 9's new fragrance, astor place, and it couldn't have been a better fit for the day - a blend of fresh spring and nyc.

astor place is heavy with freesia, red poppy buds and violet leaf, coupled with teakwood and musk. it smells like the spring bouquets i keep eying at every korean grocer i pass, but have resolved not to buy for myself.
